11 Female/9 Male (20 total roles +)
The Olympic Fairytale has roles for 20-25 kids, as you may add an additional Maid or Knight role to expand your cast as necessary.
The Olympic Fairytale also unique for its casting flexibility. If you are three actors short of being able to cast the show - simply remove one of the scenes with three characters, and subtract their lines (or redistribute as necessary) from the final scene. So, you would remove the scene with the Butcher, Baker & Candlestick maker....or you could remove the scene with Jack, Giant and Mysterious Old Man (or woman). If you're two actors short - remove Red and the Wolf.
Additionally, many of the roles in The Olympic Fairytale can be cast with either gender to accommodate your needs. Princesses can easily become Princes or the Wolf, Knight, Jack, Giant, Butcher, Baker, Candlestick Maker can all be female. The original production had a female Jack and it worked quite well. Don't concentrate on Jack being a boy, simply concentrate on the character of Jack and it works out just fine.

King Charming is always away on business and with maids and servants to attend her every need, Cinderella has grown bored in her castle. So, the Fairy Godmother and the Wise Wizard have decided to 'create' something for the Queen to do! While the Wise Wizard keeps Cindy busy cleaning up messes at the castle, the Fairy Godmother has gone out into the woods to stir up some trouble for Cinderella to focus on.
